Information technology specialist, Joel Rohne, is the owner and operator of Computer Assistants, Inc. 

Although the business was officially incorporated in June of 2004, Rohne is no stranger to technology.   In the early 90’s, Joel was working on satellite communication systems for DTN, and from there got his early start in computers.

In 2001, under the name Computer Assistants, Joel began taking on other calls besides friends and family.  His experience and knowledge in the field has grown as has his client base.  His sideline business has now become a full time career. 

His wife Deb also shares ownership of the company and provides her expertise with custom website design, digital photography, and computer education. 

Together, they are excited about the prospect of building a business together and look forward to serving the computer needs of their fellow Northwood, Iowa, residents as well as those seeking assistance in surrounding communities.
